The Beeches care home, in Dukinfield, has been the setting of some fantastic fundraising this month as Colleagues held a fundraising event to raise money for a family member who wishes to go to New York during her battle with cancer.
The home held an event of tombola stalls, raffle and cake stalls. This was complete with online entertainment from singer Kayley.
Residents, Relatives and Visitors joined in with the singalongs and some families sat outside in the garden in the beautiful, sunny weather with a refreshing drink and slice of cake.
On the day, The Beeches raised £200, and the money is still being counted as the home waits to draw the raffle.
Sade Smith, Wellbeing Coordinator, commented, “Today was a lovely day, everyone coming together to raise money for a good cause. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment and the lovely weather.”
