Georgetown Residents Christmas party with a twistMerthyr Tydfil care home, The Daffodils, have thrown a very different style Christmas party this year with the usual antics such as singing and dancing, but also video calls too, which has been a large part of 2020.

Today Christmas singing was followed by poems, activities and playing musical instruments, coupled with mince pies and cream (which the Residents thoroughly enjoyed).

Zoom video calls were also organised with other HC-One care homes to spread the festive cheer.

Home Manager, Janine Marouf, commented, “Residents enjoyed their afternoon and listening to what other homes were doing. This is something that went very well and we could do more in future.”
