A surprise delivery was made to
Dove Court care home, in Burnley, this September, as Residents were given two hampers full of lovely gifts for the Residents.
Over the last few months BT call centre volunteers have been making regular phone calls to Residents at the 120-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home. Residents look forward to these calls and chatting to new people. Some great conversations are had, and relationships being built, which is just wonderful for the Residents.
On 27th September, Aniesa Khan from BT made a surprise visit to drop off a lovely gift.
The hampers included all sorts of delightful treats, including games and arts and craft items which Residents loved having a look at, with many commenting that it was a lovely surprise and thanked BT, “How wonderful!”
Stephanie Tillotson, Wellbeing Coordinator, said, “Thank you so much for the donations.”
