HC-One Scotland’s
Darnley Court Care Home, in Glasgow, proudly celebrated International Dance Day with an evening of joy, movement, and community spirit on Tuesday, April 29.
The event, held in the beautifully decorated communal hall, welcomed the exceptionally talented performers from
Victoria Knights Acro Dance Academy, a local dance school renowned for its dynamic and creative routines.
The young dancers enthralled residents with a spectacular preview of their upcoming competition performances, showcasing a blend of acrobatic flair and choreographed precision.
The energy in the room was electric, with residents and colleagues clapping along and cheering as the dancers brought their routines to life. The evening reached a heartwarming climax when residents and colleagues joined the academy’s performers for the final dance to create a moment of unity and shared happiness.
Refreshments, including an array of homemade treats, were served, adding to the festive atmosphere as attendees mingled and shared stories inspired by the performance.
Lynsey Armstrong, HC-One Scotland’s Darnley Court Care Home Manager, commented:
