Residents at HC-One’s Balfarg care home in Glenrothes are enjoying filling up the seven bird feeding stations in the home’s grounds every Tuesday and Friday.
Several Residents at Balfarg have been assisting the team with refilling the bird feeding stations throughout the care home’s gardens and grounds. The local
Morrisons supermarket kindly donated two big bags of bird food to Balfarg, which means that there is plenty of bird feed to go around.
Everyone has been admiring all of the wonderful birds that have visited the grounds to enjoy the feeding stations and bird baths, with Residents commenting on how lovely it is to give back to nature by feeding the birds.
Balfarg Home Manager, Sharon Watson said: “Thank you so much to Morrisons in Glenrothes for their generous donation which is greatly appreciated by everyone at Balfarg and of course, by the beautiful birds that are enjoying lots of food.”
Located on Kilmichael Road, Balfarg care home offers short and long term care packages to older ladies and gentlemen in Glenrothes that require residential care, nursing care and residential memory care for those living with dementia.
