Colleagues at
Oak Tree Mews residential care and residential memory care home, in Moreton-in-Marsh, have been enthusiastically getting Residents involved in a movement and music session.
As a daily activity, music is played and everyone is encouraged to join in, get dancing and exercising, regardless of ability.
At first there was an initially shyness to the new session, but now everyone has great fun every day, especially when the classics from Elvis and Abba are played (which are firm favourites!) Doris, Alan, Maggie, Pearl and Elsie, who all live at Oak Tree Mews, regularly take part in the session, and more Colleagues have got involved too!
Jacqueline Law, Care Home Manager, commented, “It is great to see everyone having so much fun, and getting exercise at the same time!”
