At HC-One’s Meadow Bank House care home, which offers residential and nursing care, for Good Friday, everyone celebrated by having their annual Easter egg hunt with a twist.
All Residents were invited to a hall full of decorations which were made by the Residents the day before. Colleagues hid Easter eggs under the tables, chairs and around the room for Residents to find.
Everyone also received an activity pack and played a balloon game where each balloon had a note inside with the opportunity to win a large fancy Easter egg.
Kneale, Gordon, John, James, Bernard, Betty, Maureen, Sheila, Elizabeth, Wendy and Barbara, who all live at Meadow Bank House, thoroughly enjoyed looking for the eggs.
Maureen said, “Look at all the chocolate that I found.”
Kelly Champkin, Home Manager, commented, “Everyone really enjoyed themselves. What a successful day, thank you to everyone involved.”
