Mohammed Attia, a Resident at HC-One’s Chapel Level care home in Kirkcaldy enjoys using his passion for gardening to grow fresh vegetables for his fellow Resident and team members at the care home.
Having been passionate about gardening throughout his life, Mohammed was keen continue growing vegetables and tending to the garden when he moved to Chapel Level. He tends to his produce every day and enjoys chatting to others at the care home about his hobby.
When his vegetables are ready to harvest, Mohammed kindly donates them to the kitchen team at the care home to use in preparing meals for himself and his fellow Residents. Mohammed often kindly donates any leftover produce to the team members at Chapel Level to take home and use in preparing meals for their families.
Chapel Level Home Manager, Sarah Fowler said: “It’s wonderful to see Mohammed continuing his passion in life, his efforts make some delicious home-grown vegetables that we all enjoy and appreciate.”
