Green fingered Residents tend to garden at Leeds care homeGardening enthusiasts at HC-One’s Colton Lodges care home in Colton, Leeds have been busy helping to tend to the home’s garden.

A group of green fingered Residents have been enjoying offering a helping hand to keep the garden in good condition, as well as watering the existing plants, Residents have planted some seeds which will bloom and bring lots of colour to the garden. 

Everyone has been making the most of the garden during the warm weather and have commented on the wonderful job that their fellow Residents have done. One Resident commented: “I always had flowers in my garden, they are so beautiful and bring a smile to my face.”

Colton Lodges Home Manager, Danielle Longthorn said: “It’s great to see our Residents engaging in their favourite interests and pastimes, we have some keen gardeners and they are doing an amazing job tending to grounds.”
