Residents at
Greenways Court, residential and residential dementia care home, in Consett, recently enjoyed a lovely day out.
Rena, Janet and Josie, were very excited to take a trip out to the Locomotion Museum, in Shildon. The Locomotion is a National Railway Museum in County Durham, showcasing lots of trains and displays.
The Resident got to see lots of trains and even got to look around some of them. They thought they looked beautiful.
Everyone enjoyed a fantastic lunch at the museum café and then enjoyed a lovely walk to the park in the sunshine before getting back on the bus for the journey home.
Janet, commented, “It was a special place, I really enjoyed my day.”
