Residents at HC-One’s Clarendon Hall in Grimsby were delighted to learn of the news that the home had won a competition in which they were donated an Activity Table.
Inspired Inspirations, who specialise in interactive tables, ran a competition to win an Activity Table and Clarendon Hall’s name was picked out of the hat. Two lovely gentlemen came to present Colleagues with the prize, which was received with much enthusiasm.
Norman, a Clarendon House Resident, who was sitting in the reception at the time, had the honour of having the first play, and it was a delight for the staff to see. Norman’s eyes lit up as he swiped his hand across the screen and coloured patterns appeared.
“It looks like fire, but it’s not hot,” said Norman, as he swiped his hand across the screen to make smoke like patterns.
Following the generous gift, Residents have used it to play word search, quizzes, watch YouTube videos and they are planning to use it for Zoom calls too.
“It has been lovely to bring this for you, and to see Normans face was a delight,” said Stewart, Inspired Inspiration.
It was a magical experience for the staff at Clarendon to receive something so wonderful, and they can't thank "Inspired Inspirations" enough.
Nicola Walker, Home Manager at Clarendon said: "This has been an amazingly wonderful gift and we can't believe Inspired Inspirations generosity.”
