Grimsby care home enjoys sweet surprise from Compass FM

Residents at HC-One’s Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby were treated to a sweet surprise as the home was selected by local radio station Compass FM for a delivery of freshly made cakes.

Ross Carrick, a representative from Compass FM, arrived with a selection of cakes to thank the home for all their hard work they provide for Residents and the local community.

Nicola Walker, Home Manager at Clarendon Hall, was interviewed for a feature on Compass FM’s breakfast show, before staff endured a quick general knowledge quiz in the hope of gaining a place on the radio station’s leader board.

Colleagues and Residents at the home were delighted to discover the team had ranked second place in the quiz.

Nicola said: “What a lovely surprise we received from Compass FM! Everyone here at Clarendon Hall can’t wait to hear the interview air later on in the week.”
