Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire are celebrating success after Residents and Relatives voted them as one of the Top 20 recommended care homes in Yorkshire and the Humber in the carehome.co.uk awards 2022.
Carehome.co.uk, the UK's leading care home directory and comparison website, holds its annual Care Home Awards to recognise the 20 top-rated care homes in each region of the UK. These are based on individual review scores that carehome.co.uk have received from Residents, and their friends, family and loved ones, demonstrating real life opinions and first-hand experiences from those most closely connected to the home.
Clarendon Hall received an overall rating of 9.9/10 based on independent reviews, in recognition of the high standards of care provided at the home – which provides residential and nursing services for the local community. The 49-bed home received a Good CQC rating report in January 2020, demonstrating that the home is safe, effective, caring and well-led. The home also received an ‘Outstanding’ in being responsive.
The friendly and welcoming home prides itself on being homely, with a great team spirit, where everyone feels comfortable, and Colleagues are welcoming and always smiling. The home is also due to benefit from HC-One’s £54.5m investment refurbishment programme, which forms part of HC-One’s mission to be the UK’s first choice care provider in the communities it serves.
HC-One is committed to providing the highest standards of care in every community they serve, which is demonstrated by their 9.5/10 average rating on the carehome.co.uk website – which is among the highest review scores across the care home sector.
Review from P C (Son of Resident) published on 1 July 2022, carehome.co.uk, stated:
“My mother has been in Clarendon Hall Care Home since November 2019 and has always been very happy. She loves all the staff, they are genuinely kind, caring and compassionate, nothing is too much trouble. Knowing Mum is being so well fed and looked after has given the family peace of mind, as we know she is safe and all her needs are being met.”
