Guisborough care home Resident supports friendship dog charity

Lesley, a Resident at Park House care home in Guisborough – part of HC-One, the kind care company - is a proud ambassador for local charity, Wag & Company.

Wag & Company is a registered charity enabling professionally assessed volunteers and their special dogs to befriend older people in the North East of England who miss the friendship and companionship of a dog.

Connie, a former Resident of Park House was also an ambassador for charity and often appeared in promotional videos. Lesley was delighted to follow in Connie’s footsteps when she became a new ambassador for Wag & Company back in June, she has supported the amazing work they do and loves spending time with their lovely dogs.

The service provided by Wag & Company benefits the lives of many Residents at Park House, one commented: “I love it when the dogs visit, they bring so much joy and happiness to our lives.”
