The salon has at Greatwood House care home, in Greater Manchester, has had a makeover this week and now Residents can’t wait to sit in the chair and have a good blow-dry!
The home’s hairdressing room was in need of a revamp, so Home Manager Odette Wilson said it should get a good spruce up, ready for hairdressing to return in the home very soon.
The new room has received a lick of paint, some new shelves, fresh tiles and a few plants to make it more modern.
Residents love the idea of visiting the new hairdressing room and one said, “I can’t wait to have my hair done every week again.”
Odette remarked, “It looks so inviting and very fresh now! Plus, it’s a nicer environment to work in as well.”
