Parklands residential and nursing care home, in Bedwas, have hosted their very own ‘Halloween Fantastic Feast’ tea party for Residents and Colleagues.
Joined by fellow local care homes over Zoom, everyone celebrated a spooky time with lots of decorations and dressing up,
Residents tucked into a feast of fresh cakes and coffee and during the event the Residents read a poem by a welsh poet. Everyone loved taking part in the festivities and when asked if they had a good time, one Resident commented, “Yes, we have enjoyed ourselves. It was nice to see other places like this. The food was very nice and I did enjoy the music and dressing up.”
Alison Durbridge, Care Home Manager, commented, “We are proud to take part with other Welsh homes to see the happiness and joy in the faces of Residents is key and essential.”
