Last month at
Springwater Lodge in Nottingham, which provides residential, nursing and nursing dementia care, Residents enjoyed a party for Halloween.
To celebrate Halloween this year at Springwater Lodge a Halloween party was thrown in the dining room and lounge. Colleagues and Residents all dressed up in spooky outfits and listened to Halloween music to get them in the mood. The atmosphere around the home was scary for sure!
There was a range of different party games to try such as apple bobbing, splat the spider and doughnut on a string. Lots of laughter could be heard during the games and some Residents really got the hang of them. Later in the evening a nice spread of different party food and cakes were displayed for everybody to enjoy.
One Resident said, “Look at the decorations! They are fantastic”, whilst another went on to say how much of a lovely afternoon they had.
Mihaela, the Home Manager went on to say, “I’m so glad the Residents enjoyed the Halloween party, the games looked really fun”.
