Handmade with love at Hinckley ParkFrom the moment she settled into Hinckley Park residential and nursing care home, in Leicestershire, Betty Dudley (pictured) has been blessing everyone with her wonderful creations.

Betty is a keen knitter and has been creating all sorts of artistic items, including knitted ghosts for Halloween, knitted poppies for Remembrance Day and now, for Christmas, an entire knitted tree of mini Christmas trees!

Betty made enough so that all Colleagues could have one at home before the rest were turned into the creation that now graces the wall at the home. Betty’s room is a veritable grotto of Christmas knitted creations which also include snowmen, a Santa, crackers, and a Poinsettia.

Betty commented, “I love finding new things to make. It makes me happy that everyone loves them.”

Karen Holmes, Care Home Manager, remarked, “Betty is super talented, and we're so blessed to have her with us. Thank you, Betty!”
