Harefield care home say goodbye to a much-loved ColleagueResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Cedar House care home in Harefield said goodbye to Head of Housekeeping at the home, after working there for over 20 years.

Head of Housekeeping, Angela Tilbury, started working at Cedar House in 2001 and over the years she has made friends with many staff, Residents and has seen a lot of change. 

This May, Angela is set to leave the home and retire. Angela kept her retirement quiet from the team as she didn't want any fuss, but lucky enough, Colleagues found out just in time to surprise her with a cake made by one of her Colleagues June.

Residents also made some lovely homemade cards and some gifts for her garden. Everyone at Cedar House wishes Angela a safe and happy retirement and hope the sun shines so she can relax in the garden and enjoy her gifts.

Patience Sibanda, Cedar House Home Manager said: “Thank you for all you hard work and dedication. We all wish Angela well on her new chapter in her life and have enjoyed working with her.”

Located in the beautiful village of Harefield in Middlesex, Cedar House is a friendly, purpose-built care home with 42 beds, offering nursing and nursing dementia care.
