Hawaiian celebrations at Larchwood care home

HC-One’s Larchwood care home recently enjoyed a Hawaiian themed day as they held a garden party at the home.

A BBQ was held in the garden with live entertainment from Hawaiian themed dancers and a singer. Residents enjoyed joining in with both as they danced and sang the day away.

A limbo competition also took place for adults, with a hula hoop competition for the children, and everyone enjoyed taking part in the activities. A raffle was then held with many exciting prizes to be won.

Many visitors attended the home for the event, both Relatives and members of the local community, and a total of £362 was raised for the Residents’ comfort fund.

Jade Smith, Home Manager, commented: “everyone has had such an exciting day at the party, and it’s been lovely to see Residents up and dancing.”
