Hawaiian themed party for Care Home Open Week at Lunan CourtWith Care Home Open Week, due to take place at the end of June, Lunan Court, nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Angus have already started to prepare for the upcoming week.

On the 1st July, Lunan Court will host an Open Day, for family members, Relative, staff and the local community to attend.

As Residents love being out in the garden it is the perfect opportunity for the event to take place in the garden area. The garden party will have a Hawaiian theme, and everyone is encouraged to dress up with flower garlands.

On the day there will be lots of activities, and crafts for the Residents to take part in and lots of visitors from the local area. The staff have been planning this event and are continuously looking for activities for everyone to do. Staff members from Morrisons, Ashbrook Nursery, SNP have been invited to attend the event and enjoy the day.

Residents are really looking forward to spending the day with their family and friends enjoying the sunshine. Additionally, an entertainer has been booked for the event which everyone is really excited about. The Residents have always loved to have a dance and sing-along, and this is the perfect opportunity.

With this being one of the first opens days since the pandemic, it will be great to interact with the local community and meet new people.

Lunan Court are very excited for their event and look forward to seeing everyone!

Ursula Schneider, Care Home Manager, remarked, “We are very excited for the party and Care Home Open Week.”
