This month at
Hinckley Park in Leicestershire, which provides residential and nursing care, one Resident has been reunited with her grandson.
Anne, a Resident at Hinckley Park has been waiting two years to see her grandson Conner. In August 2019 he moved over to Canada with the intention of visiting in the New Year. That trip home never happened and for the past 24 months, Anne has been unable to see him.
Anne was completely unaware he would be visiting, and her family also kept the secret close to their chest up until the last minute. When he walked into the room Anne thought she was dreaming! She couldn’t believe he’d finally made it back to the UK.
To say that Anne was excited, happy, and overwhelmed might be an understatement! She was elated to be reunited with her beloved grandson. She went on to say, “I can’t believe he’s here, I’m so happy to see him”.
Karen, the Home Manager said, “I’m so happy for Anne, I’ve never seen her so excited”.
