Huddersfield care home enjoys summer trip to Blackpool

Residents at The Oakes care home in Huddersfield enjoyed a reminiscent trip to Blackpool in the summer sunshine. 

The visit began with a peaceful walk down the promenade, as they discussed memories of family trips to Blackpool growing up. 

After admiring the view of the seaside, Residents enjoyed a delicious serving of fish and chips, followed by a refreshing ice cream in Fleetwood on the way home.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed the day and couldn’t stop talking about their trip to the beach when they got back home.
