Husband and Wife reunited at Liverpool care home

It was an emotional start to December for Ian and Ellen Davies, as they were reunited at HC-One’s Moss View care home in Liverpool after months of separation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ian regularly visited Moss View to see his beloved wife Ellen, until COVID-19 restrictions meant the couple were unable to see each other. When Ian decided he would benefit from a respite stay he chose Moss View, so that he could be with his wife.
After his two-week quarantine upon his arrival to the home Ian was finally reunited with Ellen, the team at Moss View surprised the happy couple with a romantic meal for two. It was an emotional reunion, with both Ian and Ellen being overjoyed to see each other again, their family was also pleased to know that the couple were back together after such a long time.
Ian commented on how much he had missed spending quality time with Ellen and thanked the team for helping to make the reunion extra special with a lovely meal.
Moss View Home Manager, Bethann Sandall, said: “It was heart-warming to see Ian and Ellen together again, after such a difficult year for everyone these moments are just priceless.”
