Residents at HC-One’s River Court care home in Watford were taken back to their childhood with the delicious taste of ice cream in the sunshine.
Wellbeing Coordinator, Ali wanted to bring back happy memories for Residents, so he become the ice man for the day, he served ice cream to Residents throughout the home and listened to lots of wonderful stories of summer months at the beach and ice creams with friends.
River Court Resident, Margaret said: “Ah yes! I love ice cream, I always remember ice cream for myself and the kids on hot days.”
Located on Explorer Drive, River Court care home offered short and long term care packages for ladies and gentlemen in Watford that require residential care, nursing care or memory care, for those living with dementia.
