Residents at HC-One’s
Seabrooke Manor care home in Ilford took part in VE Day celebrations this May, enjoying a lovely traditional British afternoon tea.
Seabrooke Manor cerebrated VE Day on 8th May with a lovely afternoon tea. Residents and staff on the Norman House community partook in the Memorial Day by singing along to war time songs, waving flags and marching.
Residents also had some refreshments. The afternoon tea offered traditional scones, sandwiches and cups of hot tea. The event was short and delightful which gave Residents a memorable day.
Many Residents enjoyed the ideas and they appreciated being able to have good laugh and be able to engage in something meaningful.
Situated in a tranquil residential area close to both Barking and Ilford, Seabrooke Manor is a friendly care home with 120 beds, offering nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care.
