Ilkeston care home pay tribute to Resident

Colleagues at HC One’s Ladywood care home decided to put together to purchase a bench in memory of Resident Bill Guy.

Colleagues all made donations at the Ilkeston care home, so they could purchase a bench and plaque in memory of one of their long-time Residents, Bill Guy.

The bench is now placed within the grounds where Bill used to like to sit with the staff and have a coffee.

He used to love to interact with all of the staff and enjoyed spending time outdoors, so everyone thought the bench would be a fitting tribute to remember him by.

The family of Bill all hold fold memories of the home and said that they plan on visiting in the future.
