At
Daneside Mews residential dementia care home, in Cheshire, Residents have turned an area of the home into an inside garden.
The area has been fully refurbished, by the Home Manager, maintenance team and Wellbeing Coordinators and now has the addition of lots of plants and shrubs to admire. Within the space, they have also included lots of herbs and flowers that give off amazing smells!
Residents Barbara and Pat, pictured, are head gardeners and love to water the plants daily and smell the herbs. One remarked, “It’s such a beautiful area, I could sit here all day!”
Nicola Blackwood, Care Home Manager, commented, “I am so proud of the team and what we have all managed to achieve!”
