Irthlingborough care home Residents enjoy flipping fun

Residents at HC-One’s Acacia Lodge care home enjoyed a party in honour of pancake day on the 25th February.

Residents, Relatives and Colleagues came together for the event as everyone took part in a pancake tossing competition, and raced through the home’s garden to not drop their pancakes from the pan.

Afterwards, everyone sat to enjoy some home made pancakes with various toppings of their choice. Residents even enjoyed talking about the favourite toppings they would enjoy as children.

Farai Maringa, home manager, commented: “Everyone enjoyed their day today, it was such fun to see everyone take part in the race.”
