Irthlingborough care home Residents enjoy virtual carol service
< Back to News
Residents and team members at HC-One’s Acacia Lodge care home in Irthlingborough enjoyed a virtual carol service hosted by their local guide group on Wednesday 9th December.
Everyone gathered in Acacia Lodge to watch the Irthlingborough Guides perform their Christmas carol service via Zoom, Residents enjoyed watching the service along with warm beverages and delicious treats. At the end of the service, everyone gave a big round of applause and the home was filled with Christmas cheer.
One Resident commented: “I thought the little girl who played silent night on the clarinet played beautifully.”
Acacia Lodge Home Manager, Simona Antone, said: “Irthlingborough Guides have visited our home every year to sing for the Residents at Christmas. This year may have been a little different but it was heart-warming that everyone was still able to enjoy the carol service.”
