Italian Resident cheers on football team at Coventry care homeDonato, a Resident at HC-One’s Brandon House care home, is of Italian nationality, and so was born and bred in Italy for most of his life. When it comes to the football, he is very passionate about this, which may have caused some friendly competition in the home recently as England were due to play against Italy in the Euro 2020 football final.

Colleagues at the home kindly helped Donato support his team by buying a flag for him, as well as an Italian football shirt.

Everyone has remarked in the home that regardless of the result, it will be ‘coming home’ one way or another as they support both sides!

Sheryl Davis, Home Manager, commented: “Don was born and raised in Italy, so it is only fair for him to support the team of his choice, we are happy to assist with anything and loved helping him prepare with his flag and shirt!”
