Residents, Relatives and Colleagues at
Needham Court, residential and residential dementia care home in Jarrow all came together to celebrate a very special birthday.
100th birthday celebration for Resident Esther Tooley, took place on the 11th of December.
Colleagues worked tirelessly to decorate the lounge area and the Kitchen Team provided a fantastic buffet.
Family and friends came for the day to celebrate with Esther and celebrate a very special birthday.
Esther received a special card from The King and The Queen Consort. She was thrilled to receive the card and smiled for a picture to show everyone the card.
All Colleagues attended to sing happy birthday, Esther was so overwhelmed and said, “I have had such a wonderful day and I can’t thank everyone enough."
Joann Mills, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was a great day and seeing the smile on Esther’s face was amazing.”
