Residents at HC-One’s
Springwater Lodge care home in Nottingham took full advantage of the recent lovely weather, enjoying garden games and a trip to Greggs.
On 11th May, Care Assistant Gemma Eaton took Resident Janet down to Greggs for a coffee and a cake. Janet really enjoyed herself as staying indoors and not being allowed out the garden has really frustrated Janet at times. Janet’s wish was to get out and as soon as Colleagues got the go ahead, they made it happen.
Residents back at the home enjoyed some garden games and some food in the homes beautiful outdoor area. Here, Residents reminisced about what they used to play in their garden when they were younger.
“I can’t wait to do it again! Thank you for making it happen , what a lovely day,” said one Resident.
Situated in the pretty village of Calverton, just outside Nottingham, Springwater Lodge is a small, purpose-built home with 50 beds, offering residential and nursing care, as well as residential memory care for those living with dementia.
