Residents at
Castle View, nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Dunbartonshire, have recently celebrated the Platinum Jubilee.
To celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee, Residents decided to have a special party in the lounge. The room was decorated with red, white, and blue balloons, Union Jack flags, cup and plates.
It was very exciting as Castle Views very own Queen made an appearance, Castle Views very own Activity Coordinator.
Residents played a balloon popping game, where Residents were in competition to receive a trip out. All Residents were winners and are excited to claim their prize.
The highlights of the day were the refreshments made by the fantastic kitchen staff, which included cakes, crisps, tea, coffee, wine, and sandwiches.
Kirsty Miller, Care Home Manager, commented, “The Residents and staff had lots of fun at the party, it was such a great day.”
