Kindness is celebrated at Preston care home

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Colleagues at HC-One’s Meadow Bank care home, in Bamber Bridge, which offers residential, nursing and dementia care, decided to do something a little different for the staff. 

Melanie Matthews and Dawn Ward, both Colleagues at Meadow Bank, designed the ‘#KINDNESS’ certificates, with the aim being that a Colleague says one nice word to describe another of their Colleagues to brighten up everybody’s day. 

These certificates will now be turned into a #KINDNESS display on each unit at the home.

Melanie Matthews, Receptionist, remarked, “Being able to make someone smile with one kind word costs nothing but is worth millions!”
