Kings Park in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside, a 40-bed nursing dementia care home, was crowned the winner of the Transformational Team Award at the Tameside CRISTAL Care Awards 2022.
The awards ceremony took place at Dukinfield Town Hall on Friday 14th October. The CRISTAL awards recognises and celebrates the personal, innovative and dedicated work that benefits people receiving care across the region and many health and social care professionals attended the event.
Kings Park’s full team of Colleagues was recognised by the independent panel judges in recognition of the hard work and kind care shown to Residents, Relatives and Colleagues as well as the dedication and passion all Colleagues show every day to ensure the people they support receive the best quality care.
Representing the team, Colleagues Carrie Edgar, Raju Kemperaju, Linda Hogan, Sue Massey, Gail rabbits, Karen Goddard, Stephanie Newton and Fiona Brown, all attended the event and described it as a great evening.
Colleague Gail Rabbits, who attended the evening, remarked:
