Lancashire care home gentlemen have a game of boulesSome of the gentlemen at Oakland care home, which offers residential and residential memory care in Rochdale, enjoyed playing boules today.

Andrew Cracknell, Neil Bromley, Jack Wellens and Tony Daulby, are a competitive bunch, but in the end, it was Neil who won, (pictured seated). He told everyone that he was a ‘Champion Crown Green Boules Player’.

The Residents particularly enjoyed being in the company of each other and having a beer in the sunshine

Karen Upton, Deputy Manager, commented, “It was lovely seeing the gentlemen having a nice time in the garden.”
