Residents have had a lovely time making crafts and trying out Chinese food to celebrate the year of the ox at HC-One’s Dove Court care home in Burnley.
Everyone enjoyed an afternoon of fun of games as Residents crafted beautiful Chinese-inspired lanterns followed by Chinese New Year bingo, marking off different of Chinese art and culture.
One Resident commented: “It was really nice and something a bit different.”
After a busy afternoon, everyone enjoyed a lovely themed dinner with sweet and sour chicken, rice and spring rolls on the main menu.
Dove Court Home Manager, Catherine Brierley, said: “It was lovely to see the Residents enjoying themselves.”
