Leeds care home is proud to receive coronavirus vaccinationsAll Residents of HC-One’s Amber Lodge care home in Armley have now received the coronavirus vaccine.

The home is now one step closer to returning to some normality and Residents are looking forward to eventually being reunited with their families and friends when the government give the go-ahead.

Practitioners from the home’s local GP came in to administer the vaccinations with help from Colleagues at the home.

Jade, a Colleague at the home, said: “I’m glad we are being offered the vaccine to help protect us in our home. Hopefully it will help towards the end of this pandemic.”

The vaccine is currently being rolled out to Residents and Colleagues in care homes under guidance from the Department of Health.

Amber Lodge Deputy Home Manager, Sarah, commented: “It’s great news that all of our Residents have now had the vaccine.”
