Theatre to watch Indigo, a compelling musical that explores the nuanced realities of dementia and autism.
The performance left a profound impression on Bradley Hall residents Hazel, Babs, Marleen and Gill who attended, blending emotional storytelling with vibrant choreography and music. Indigo captivated the audience with its authentic portrayal of characters navigating the challenges of cognitive and developmental differences.
As the story unfolded, viewers witnessed struggles met with resilience and hope, which created an uplifting narrative that resonated deeply with residents.
 
Shellie Walkerdine, HC-One’s Bradley Hall Wellbeing Coordinator, shared her reflections:
“The whole story was just a masterpiece. It’s a very emotional but happy story that journeys through all the emotions involved in living with or caring for someone with dementia or autism.”
Resident Barbara Jones revealed her personal connection to the production:
“I loved it, especially as the depiction resonated so much with me. It’s for people with disabilities like me who communicate their wishes, wants, and needs in alternative ways.”
