Dawn Bridge, Nursing Assistant at HC-One’s
Altham Court care home in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, a 46-bed residential and nursing care home, has been shortlisted for The Social Care Nurse and Nurse Associate Award Category at the Lincolnshire Care Awards 2022.
The nomination for the award is in recognition of her hard work and kind care shown to Residents, Relatives and Colleagues as well as the dedication and passion Dawn shows every day to ensure the people she supports receive the best quality care.
Dawn, who has been a Nursing Assistant for three years, has worked her way up from a Senior Carer and worked hard to complete extra training while still working, she has truly embraced her role at the care home.
Anna Livsey, Care Home Manager at Altham Court, who nominated Dawn for the award, said:
“Dawn can confidently organise and run a shift, assisting the Nurse in their role whilst overseeing the Seniors on the floor. She is fair in her allocations and always looking at skill mix to ensure that everyone is supported, which then leads to positive outcomes for our Residents. Dawn has a great sense of humour which is just wonderful for our home.”
There are 12 categories at the 2022 Lincolnshire Care Awards, hosted by the Lincolnshire Care Association, and the winners will be announced at the Gala Award Evening on 30th March 2023 at The Doubletree by Hilton, in Lincoln.
