Live entertainment at Wakefield care homeIt was a fun-filled day as Residents at HC-One’s Carr Gate care home in Wakefield welcomed back local performer, Emma James after eighteen months since her last visit.

Due to covid-19 restrictions, Emma James had been unable to perform for Residents at Carr Gate for over a year so it was a very exciting moment when they were able to see her perform again from the home’s garden.

Everyone sang, danced and clapped along to the music and gave a big round of applause for Emma at the end of the show. A great time was had by all, with Residents agreeing that it was wonderful to hear some live music again.

Carr Gate Home Manager, Amy Brown said: “Thank you to Emma James for putting on such a wonderful performance for our Residents once again, it was great to have you back at our home.”

Located on Lawns Lane, Carr Gate care home offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen that require residential care, nursing care and memory care for those living with dementia.
