Local school donates Harvest Festival gifts to Lancashire care homeEveryone at HC-One’s Dove Court residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care home, in Burnley, has been delighted at a very kind donation from the local school.

Pupils from Holly Grove school, with the organisation and help from subject leaders at the school, Alison Redmond and Libby Fitton, donated a lovely Harvest Festival wreath and harvest box all hand crafted by the pupils with various gifts such as toiletries, sweets and biscuits.

Residents enjoyed seeing the handcrafted items and looking at what gifts they had got. One commented, “How thoughtful! Thank you so much!”

Stephanie Tillotson, Wellbeing Coordinator, added, “How nice! Thank you so much Holly Grove school for your very kind donation you have brightened up our day!”
