Local school pupils write to Warrington care home ResidentsResidents at HC-One’s Birch Court care home in Warrington were delighted when Year 10 and 11 pupils from Birchwood High School reached out to share stories and let everyone know that they are thinking of them during these difficult times.

Local school pupils wrote to Residents at Birch Court to share their experiences during the global pandemic as well as sending their best wishes and stories for Residents to enjoy.

Everyone enjoyed reading the letters from the children, with one Resident commenting: “It’s lovely to hear some news from the local community, it has been such a long year for everyone.”

Birch Court Home Manager, Kerry Winstanley, said: “It was heart-warming that the pupils reached out to us, it means so much to our Residents to know that people are thinking of them. We look forward to the day when we can welcome the students to visit us once again.”
