Year 2 pupils from St. Aloysius School sent some lovely postcards and pictures to the Residents of HC-One’s Hawthorn Court care home in Hebburn.
The students from St. Aloysius School wanted to give their best wishes and bring some happiness to the Residents of Hawthorn Court, so they coloured in some lovely pictures and wrote nice messages.
Everyone at Hawthorn Court loved looking at all of the lovely pictures, some chose to keep the pictures in the rooms and the rest created a beautiful display in the home’s window. One Resident commented: “What a lovely surprise, thank you to the children for thinking of us.”
Hawthorn Court Home Manager, Amanda Sleightholme said: “Such a lovely gesture from our local school, we appreciate their efforts and sent a thank you card with some pictures for the students. We hope to welcome them back to Hawthorn Court for a visit when it is safe to do so.”
Located on St Aloysius View, Hawthorn Court care home offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen in Hebburn that require residential care and residential memory care for those living with dementia.
