Local students bring joy and connection to residents at Adelaide House Care HomeResidents at Adelaide House Care Home in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, have expressed their heartfelt thanks to pupils and staff from Ashley Park School for their ongoing visits, which continue to brighten the home and create special intergenerational connections.
 
Students from the local school regularly spend time with residents, sharing conversation, laughter and activities that bring a sense of community and companionship to those living at the care home.

Each visit has become a highlight for residents, many of whom treasure the opportunity to spend time with younger members of the community. The students’ enthusiasm and kindness have helped create meaningful moments and lasting memories for everyone involved.
 
Lola Olanrewaju, Adelaide House’s Home Manager said:
“Every visit from the pupils at Ashley Park School brings so much joy to our home. Their smiles, energy and warmth truly light up the day for our residents. The connections formed during these visits are incredibly special and mean far more than words can express.”
