After much anticipation, Colleagues and Residents at
Avandale Lodge residential and residential memory care home, in Northwich, got to see some live outdoor entertainment!
Residents finally got to see an outdoor entertainer. With restrictions lifting, and coupling together with fellow HC-One home Acorn Hollow, Residents watched a live singer in the garden, all safe and socially distanced of course!
Most Residents jumped at the chance to sit outdoors and be entertained, they enjoyed a few cold drinks and cake in the sunshine; waving their arms along to the music. Some favourite tunes were from Elvis and The Temptations.
Everyone had a wonderful afternoon and particularly enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the music.
Resident Margaret said, “Lovely to listen to some music outside”
Fellow Resident, Edith, added, “It’s warm but I’m happy!”
Steve McCarthy, Home Manager, commented, “It was a great afternoon, enjoyed by all!”
Rachael Sidebotham, Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “It’s lovely to be outside, having entertainers back!”
