Love is in the air at Brandon House

To celebrate Valentines Day at Brandon House care home, nursing assistant Amy came up with a very special idea.

The home has around 10 husbands and wivies who regularly visit the home to see their loved ones. As a special treat, Amy's idea was to create mugs for the couples which included their wedding photograph on it.

On Valentine’s day the Relatives were invited to the home for a special Valentines lunch and were given the mugs along with a box of chocalates. Suffice to say there were a few happy tears shed and it was a very special event.

Home Manager, Sheryl Davis commented:

"It is important that our Residents are able to maintain their relationships and remember special days like Valentine’s day. These mugs were a lovely idea and put a smile on so many faces. Events like these are just another way we can provide the kindest and most personal care to our Residents."
