Love is in the air at Meadowlands care home

Meadowlands care home in Aberdare was delighted to host a Valentine’s Day party for Residents, along with their family and friends.

The party included a love-themed buffet and refreshments, in addition to a raffle, which raised £45 to go towards the home’s next exciting event.

There was also a singer who performed at the party and also handed out roses to all of the female guests.

One Resident commented: “I thoroughly enjoyed the Valentine’s Day activities at Meadowlands, particularly as I got to spend the day with my loved ones.”

Sandra Vernal, Home Manager, said: “Everyone really enjoyed celebrating the day together. It was lovely seeing the Residents taking part in the activities with their nearest and dearest.”
