The Residents of
Lunan Court in Arbroath which offers nursing and nursing memory care for those living with dementia, enjoyed getting crafty with their artwork!
Residents from both the Harbour View floor and Nightingale floor got creative and enjoyed making Halloween jars as decorations to go around the home in October.
The jars were filled with paint and then the Residents moved the jars around until the whole of the jar was painted inside, then the outside of the jars were decorated with stickers and glitter.
The staff then contributed by putting battery operated candles inside the jars to turn them into lamps.
One Colleague commented, “The Residents thoroughly enjoyed their day of arts and crafts”.
Ursula Schneider, Care Home Manager remarked, “The home will look great with these Halloween lamps dotted around and it was great to see the staff and Residents work together to make them look so good”.
